The fact that the Taj Mahal hotel was used as a hospital is as fascinating as the fact that the nearby Gateway of India was designed by the same architect that designed the KEM Hospital.
A lot of history and architecture of Mumbai during the British era has connections to the world of medicine. The walks by PIE are designed to explore this unique relationship. These walks are usually conducted between November and February.
